Old Bank

A concrete and stone building that radiates solidity and reliability, this bank has served as a downtown landmark for generations of locals. Originally the downtown headquarters of a regional bank, this is now a branch of a larger financial institution. Located in a historic district, this location continues to serve downtown customers. The interior has been renovated, and the electrical and communications wiring updated, but the structure is unchanged from over a century ago. The concrete construction and stone-clad exterior were designed to give a sense of durability and solidness, advertising that the financial institution inside could be trusted with a family’s savings.

In a modern game, this old-fashioned building can be located in any urban area more than one hundred years old. By replacing the security guards or some of the tellers with drones or robots, it can also be used in a cyberpunk or space opera setting. In a science fiction game this building may be centuries old.
