Job Purpose
As a Tools Programmer, you’ll build and maintain lightweight, efficient tools that streamline workflows across departments. From asset management to editor automation, your work will help designers, artists, and developers move faster and collaborate better – especially in a remote/distributed team environment.
Key Responsibilities

- Create custom Unity or Unreal Editor extensions to improve level design, animation, and scripting pipelines
- Design intuitive user interfaces for toolsets used by non-programming team members
- Automate asset validation, import/export, and scene setup processes
- Integrate third-party systems and APIs to improve data flow between departments
- Gather feedback from team members to prioritize usability and reliability
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that can scale as projects grow
Requirements
- Proven experience creating tools and editor extensions in Unity (C#) or Unreal Engine (C++)
- Strong understanding of real-time game production workflows
- Skilled in building small-scale, single-purpose tools that improve daily team efficiency
- Experience with GUI design and user-focused development practices
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, Perforce)

- Salary range: €35,000 – €55,000 gross/year
